Had a wonderful day out at Hamingja - Heritage Farm and Nature Preserve for Alberta Farm Days today! The highlight of my day was spontaneously teaching my daughter how to bead for the first time 🥰🥰
I’m an over thinker and figured I’d need bigger sized beads (she learned today on my tiny 11/0 seed beads 🥹) to start teaching her and was also waiting for her interest to take the lead. Then today she wanted to help me with my project so instead I offered for her to start her very own and teach her the process. Proud momma moment here today for sure 🥰 Beading definitely runs in our blood, I can’t get over how well she did for her very first time at only 6 years old! 🥹💖

If you couldn’t tell by me wearing a birthday pin, I meant to post this about a month ago and forgot lol. But I wanted to show off and share the ribbon skirt I made for myself 🥰 It was my first time attempting to sew a skirt with pockets!
I’ve been beading quite a bit this summer but haven’t taken any photos, so stay tuned to see some as I catch up on taking photos and get back to (semi) regularly posting again! ☺️💖
