Well… this probably wasn’t something most of you expected to see on the Artisan Goods • Leather & Beeswax page. 😂
Over the years, you’ve watched me make leather, build things, travel around to markets with my family, coach soccer, and probably come up with more ideas than Sofi knows what to do with.
Now I’ve decided to take on something a little different.
I put my name forward for Greenwood City Council.
Greenwood is our home. It’s where we’re raising our family, where we’re building Great Spirit Designs, and the Boundary is where we’ve met so many of the people who have supported what we do over the years.
I’m not a politician, and I’m not trying to become one. I’m a local guy who cares about this little city and believes I have something worthwhile to contribute.
So lately, instead of spending every spare minute in the shop, you might find me walking around Greenwood putting up signs, talking with neighbours, listening to people’s concerns, and learning a whole lot along the way.
It’s definitely been an adventure so far. 😂
To everyone who has stopped to talk, offered encouragement, put one of my signs in their yard, worn a shirt, shared a post, or simply sending over prayers and blessings, thank you. It means a lot to me and my family.
And to everyone who has supported Great Spirit Designs all these years, thank you for following along on this next little chapter too.
