It's open to any child ages 6&up, not just Hillman studio dancers.
Here is her bio.
Kaitlin Kormos has training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary and has done dance competitively for 11 years. She has completed up to her Grade 5 ballet RAD exams, as well has her Intermediate 2 jazz ADAPT exams. During her time as a dancer, she had completed the mentorship training provided through her studio and also completed the ADAPT Assistant Training course, earning her certification as an official assistant. She has experience with assisting multiple age groups in multiple classes which include; ballet, jazz, acro, and hiphop. Kaitlin also has taught multiple age groups in classes which include; ballet, acro, contemporary, and hiphop. She has choreographed competing dances in both hiphop, jazz, and contemporary as well.
Over the years, Kaitlin has taken classes at multiple conventions including; Triple Threat Dance Convention (currently known as Power Dance Convention), Dance Jam, and Form Dance Convention. She as been apart of Dance The Magic twice which has allowed her to dance in both showcases and in parades down Main Street Disneyland. During her time in Los Angeles, she had the opportunity of taking multiple classes at Millennium Dance Complex. Last summer, she also attended a teacher summer camp at Where We Collective as well as the Groovment workshop through ADAPT in the fall. She has taken master classes with multiple artists including Richard Andres and Josh Capulong, Mackenzie Green, Emma Willey, Abby Hunter, and many more.
Kaitlin has received multiple awards which include; The Most Improved award presented from her studio, a special award from Candance presented to her by Shelley Tookey, Team Spirit award presented by from her studio, Faculty Stand Out award from Form Dance Convention presented to her by Jordan Clark, Most Outstanding Solo for 16 plus from Parkland Dance Festival, Harbour Scholarship from Parkland Dance Festival, a special award from View Dance Challenge presented by Heather Dotto, and lastly a special award from View Dance Challenge presented by Alex Pollard.
