CTORA Academy Fall 2026 Adult Musical Theatre Program

Titanic The Musical – Ensemble Version

Registration is now open!

Designed for adults who love musical theatre, this audition-based program offers the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a staged production of Titanic. Featuring a live orchestra, simple staging, and a focus on storytelling and ensemble performance, this program is designed for musical theatre enthusiasts seeking a meaningful and rewarding performance experience.

Participants will:

• Rehearse and perform a Tony Award-winning Broadway score
• Develop vocal, acting, and ensemble performance skills
• Connect with Vancouver’s musical theatre community
• Work with theatre professionals throughout the rehearsal process
• Perform for a live audience at Waterfront Theatre

Early Bird Registration Fee by June 30: $275
Regular Registration Fee by July 15: $325
Monthly payment available

All accepted participants will be part of the production. Featured roles and ensemble assignments will be determined through auditions at the start of the program.

As one of the two MainStage productions in CTORA’s 2027 10-Year Anniversary Season, The Hunchback of Notre Dame will bring one of musical theatre’s most powerful and breathtaking scores to the stage from March 12–21 2027 at the Granville Island Stage Theatre.

We are thrilled to announce that director Cathy Wilmot will lead this production, marking her first collaboration with CTORA as a director. Returning once again after many seasons of collaboration, our dear Jeremy Hoffman will lead the full orchestra as Music Director, alongside Ken Overbey .esquire as Choreographer.

Together with Peter Pan, these two anniversary productions reflect CTORA’s continued passion for celebrating classics, imagination, and storytelling with emotional depth.

The full creative teams for both productions will be announced soon. Auditions will be open to both Equity and non-Equity performers in September 2026.

Mark your calendars to celebrate our 10-year anniversary with us, and experience the incredible talent our artists will bring to the stage again!

With Grease coming to an end, we are thrilled to announce that Grease director Sarah Rodgers will return in 2027 to celebrate CTORA’s 10-year anniversary season by directing one of our two anniversary productions, Peter Pan-Broadway’s timeless musical!

Based on one of the most treasured children’s stories of all time, Peter Pan has touched the hearts of generations with its wonder, adventure, and imagination. Sarah Rodgers and her team will bring this timeless classic to life once again with theatrical magic, heart, and the spirit of childhood adventure.

This magical three-act musical will run April 8–18, 2027 at the BMO Theatre Centre. Auditions will be held in September 2026. We welcome submissions from both Equity and non-Equity performers. Actors, stay tuned for more details!
