While no two projects between an artist and alta will unfold in the same way, there are common processes and practices that will help guide us through a successful and enjoyable project.
◾Introduction: Every collaboration starts with a conversation. An opportunity for an artist to meet the alta studio, develop trust and start to understand the possibilities.
◾Conceptualization: We work with artists to turn their vision into a plan and break down the techniques and processes to make it happen.
◾Creation: Depending on the project needs, the artist has time to create the analog, or digital, elements for their Elegraph™ series.
◾The Art Digital Master File (ADMF™): Using Arius Technology's ultra-high-resolution digitization platform, the millions of data points in an ADMF are collated into multiple discrete channels that become an artist’s digital palette.
◾Digital Exploration: Working side-by-side, or virtually, artists work with alta’s art production team to digitally develop their project.
◾Proofing: Augmented 3D proofs allow for digital inspection, before printing physical artist proofs for tangible Elegraph print editions.
◾Iteration: With unlimited opportunity to explore and build on what has already been created, we work with artists to expand their series with iterations of their work.
