Studio 3688
Studio 3688 is for kids with diverse abilities. The goal is mostly just to have fun, make friends through shared interest, and gain self confidence through friendship and self Discovery. We believe everyone has strengths and discovering those strength helps them feel better about themselves, when the world focuses on your weaknesses. The hope is that along the way they will gain social skills and acting skills and at the end of the year, if the kids are ready for it, we hope to put on a play that highlights each person's strengths. Midyear we will be doing a talent show to give the kids a chance to perform and get used to being in front of an audience, but only for those who want to, non will be forced to participate. The talent can be something they have learned out side of the group or something they have learned in the group that they would like to share.
We hope to help bring out the best in each child, the best them, teaching them that they don’t have to be someone else. I know, ironic, teaching them to act like someone else in hopes that they learn to be themselves. But our teacher is living proof it works.
