Nelson, it’s been a slice painting this mural for the francophone school École des Sentiers-alpins - Nelson.
There’s something especially meaningful about working on a project that connects both to my French roots and to the mountain lifestyle—my muse.
Through playful characters and alpine landscapes, this mural celebrates diversity and the connection between people, nature, and culture.
I had the pleasure of painting the first coat with the high school students, who brought so much energy to the project.
I fell in love with Nelson a few years ago during the International Mural Fest, and it’s been a treat to return and see new murals popping up on every street corner.
