SATURDAY – the Flatland Boogie Workshop was a full day of dancing. It was soooo much fun. Our feature instructor, Kay Hyde from the Clog Wild Cloggers of Alabama was FANTANSTIC. She taught so many great dances. Excellent choreography to super fun music. Kay, and her assistant, Jan, brought the Alabama spirit to Regina. After the long day of dancing, some of us carried on with more socializing at Birmingham’s. It was nice to relax with great food & drinks while we shared more stories. The evening ended with a little bit of line dancing.

Thanks again to everyone who travelled near & far to attend, for all the instructors who cued and to the Prairie Lily Cloggers for all their work in organizing, setting up and cleaning up afterwards.

And again, a special thank you to Kay Hyde for being our feature instructor. You are a superstar!!

FRIDAY - started with a tour of the RCMP, Lunch at Coney Island, Saskatchewan Legislative Building, and various other POI along the drive.

Then our clogging weekend started with the 27th Saskatchewan Clogging Fun Day. The Prairie Lily Cloggers hosted, as various instructors from Saskatchewan (Dona Keys, Rosalie Bodnarchuk, Barb Goldie, Denise Johner), Alberta (Janice Jestin, Ida Murray), BC (Barb Guénette) and Alabama (Kay Hyde) cued fun dances. The Prairie Lily Cloggers performed a demo.
