Tavria Ukrainian Folk Dance Ensemble & Dance School The Tavria Ukrainian Folk Dance Ensemble enjoys promoting and sharing their culture to all audiences. We welcome the opportunity to come dance for you.

For over 35 years, Tavria Ukrainian Folk Dance Ensemble has been capturing the imagination of audiences with their colourful presentation of Ukrainian dance. They are a talented and exuberant group of dancers that range in age from 15 to 25 and are known for their intricate footwork, fast-paced dancing and crowd-pleasing attitude. Over the years, Tavria's repertoire has grown to represent a divers

e range of regions of Ukraine. The Artistic Directors are Yuriy and Oksana Sholdra who share their wealth of knowledge and expertise. As part of one of the largest Ukrainian dance schools in Saskatchewan, the ensemble dancers love to promote and share their culture through entertaining performances. They perform at both large and small engagements.

The members, families, staff, and Board of Directors of Tavria are deeply saddened to learn of the fire at the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada Regina Branch hall.

This hall has long been an important gathering place within Regina’s Ukrainian community, providing a home for cultural, educational, and community programs that have touched the lives of so many. Many members of the Tavria family have connections to both organizations, making this loss especially heartfelt.

We extend our sincere thoughts and support to the UNF community, its leadership, program participants, volunteers, and all those affected by this devastating loss.

Our hearts are with you, and we stand alongside you as you move forward.
