Together, on the most sacred night of the year, Kareema is planning a heist.

The Globe Theatre remembers Ken Mitchell, a remarkable Saskatchewan playwright whose work helped shape our stage and our community.

Over the years, he wrote and adapted several works for the Globe, including Heroes/This Train (1974), The Politician (1977), Cruel Tears (1991), The Great Electrical Revolution (1996) and Gone the Burning Sun (1998), as well as his adaptation of Roots (1972).
His work brought Saskatchewan stories to the stage, reflecting his deep commitment to the province and its artists.

His contribution to Globe Theatre and to the development of Saskatchewan theatre will be remembered with great respect.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
