What happens when a workshop turns into a Cuban jam session?

U of R music students and faculty got to experience a performance by our guest artists, then pick up their own instruments and join in. Together, they explored Cuban rhythms, experimented with creating Cuban-inspired sounds on their instruments, and played along with the musicians.

The only thing better than bringing this talent to the stage is getting to share their passion, knowledge and love of music with the next generation of musicians. ❤️🎶

Don’t miss them on stage this Saturday!
