🚨 $5 CHALLENGE — HELP US KEEP GOING 🐾
So here I am this morning, drinking my coffee, working through emails and text messages, making posts, trying to get everybody AMPED UP… and then I open one email.
“This is what you owe.”
It’s a vet bill.
And this one is simply from doing what we do every single day — getting dogs their rabies vaccines, first vaccines, deworming, NexGard, medications, and whatever else they need to be healthy and ready for their next chapter.
And honestly?
We are behind. REALLY behind.
Between vet bills and keeping our rescue vans running — which seem to be a 24/7 ongoing battle 😅 — we are sitting at roughly $30,000 in outstanding costs.
$30,000.
That number is terrifying.
But instead of throwing our hands up, I’m going to challenge you.
🐾 THE $5 CHALLENGE 🐾
I’m asking EVERYONE who can to donate just $5.
That’s it.
Not $50.
Not $100.
Just $5.
And here’s the fun part…
When you donate, put a name in the memo and write “SAVE THEM.”
Give me your BEST, most unique animal name!
Because we are going to start a list — and those names will become the names of the animals we save next. ❤️
And let me tell you WHY this matters.
Since January 1st, we have helped and saved 755 DOGS.
And 401 CATS.
That’s 1,156 animals.
1,156 animals who needed somebody to say, “Yes. We’ll help.”
We have already helped four different communities, and when they call us, we continue to show up.
We also have animals who have been waiting far too long for their forever homes. We have one dog who has been in rescue for THREE YEARS.
Three years.
That’s why you’re seeing our adoption fees where they are right now. We want these animals home. We don’t want them sitting in rescue forever. We want to make room for the next animal who needs us.

I want to get this vet bill paid by Monday.
