One of my fav wreaths that I’ve made 🥰 Charlie Brown is such a classic and gives me all the feels during any holiday.

I have been making wreaths for years and have loved creating them with a mix of classic characters and crochet. The unfortunate part is that with all the fees on Etsy and the cost to ship them now it’s not worth the time and effort. I do have a few left that I’ll sell locally but I won’t be selling them on Etsy/shipping them 💔 breaks my heart because it’s one of the things I love about crafting. I’ve been thinking about all the things I’ve made and my favourites. This by far is one of my favs so I had to do a throwback. This crochet log house is so freaking adorable 🥰 It has so many details that make it so cozy and inviting. It is even filled with the sweetest crochet critters, ugh my heart!! I love making toys for my kiddos and others. I get so much joy watching they play with something I created especially when it’s this freaking cute!!! If you ever needed a reason to start crocheting then this is it 🌾🧶🌸

I just finished reading Molly Shannon’s book “Hello, Molly!” It’s a great read and as I was in the midst of finishing it I realized that I need to crochet some SNL figures for our collection. One thing we love doing during the summer is garage saling. My favourite finds are vintage Christmas ornaments, camping gear, yard stuff and plant pots to name a few. I recently found these adorable plant pots at a garage sale, best 2 dollars I ever spent 😄 I added some crochet plants and viola the cutest little plants. It’s like a treasure hunt, you never know what you are going to find.

Enjoying the sweetness of summer while I can. I haven’t been crocheting as much as I would like but sometimes you just have to go with the flow. I usually get my kids a gift at the end of the school year to reward them for all their hard work. We came across some crochet “big mouth frog monsters” (the only way I can describe it 😆) and they were so excited which gave me the idea to make them each one. They like weird stuff like me I guess 🤷‍♀️😁 Needless to say they were so excited. I just love taking yarn and creating something that brings them so much joy 💕
