wow! It was a surprise & a real honour to receive the "Roots/Folk Artist of the Year" award at last night's Saskatchewan Music Awards. Huge praise to all nominees in the category, what a talented lot. There's so much great music being made in Saskatchewan across genres. Remember-please support live music in whatever way you can. Heartfelt thanks to Russell Broom for producing my latest album "Just Before Sunrise". And of course to everyone who has listened to songs & come to shows in the past few years. It means so much!
