Catherine shared some great insights into funding, membership, partnerships, learning opportunities and the many different ways organizations can get support.

We also discussed support for newcomer and ethnocultural communities, Creative Kids, volunteer opportunities, Culture Days and the importance of bringing different communities together.

A big thank you to Catherine for joining us and for such an open and informative conversation!

Summer is a busy time, and we know many people are enjoying vacations and spending time with family. Due to a last-minute guest cancellation and many community members being away, we did not have a new guest episode last week.

Instead, we shared a recording of one of our previous conversations so you could still enjoy stories, experiences, and voices from our diverse Regina community.

We are looking forward to welcoming our next guest this Friday and continuing to share inspiring stories of culture, connection, and community.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Cultural Voices of Regina! 🎧

What a wonderful and engaging show we had yesterday, celebrating the diversity and vibrant cultures that make Regina such a special place!

This week, we were delighted to welcome guests representing the Bangladeshi, Persian/Iranian, and Azerbaijani communities.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing guests Mohana Das, who shared insights into the Bangladeshi community, arts, and culture, and Sam Neezamloo, who introduced listeners to the rich heritage and traditions of the Iranian community.

This episode also featured a fun twist! For the first time in a while, Rena Farajova switched roles and stepped into the guest chair instead of hosting. She was joined by her husband, Anar Heydar-zada, to talk about the Azerbaijani community, its traditions, and the work of the Azerbaijani Cultural Association of Regina (AzCAR).

Meanwhile, Terry did a fantastic job hosting the show, leading thoughtful conversations and keeping the discussion lively from start to finish.

It was an engaging, informative, and enjoyable program filled with stories, cultural experiences, and meaningful conversations that brought our communities closer together.

A sincere thank you to our guests, our host Terry, and everyone who tuned in. We look forward to welcoming you back for another episode of Cultural Voices of Regina next week!
