💗 Come on Barbie, let’s get married. 💗

Caydence & Aaron’s wedding was PINK, polished, emotional, and one heck of a party. ✨

When Caydence told us she wanted Barbie, we knew exactly what the assignment was — bring the pink, bring the fun… but give it a sophisticated, classy wedding-day glow-up. 💕 And seeing it all come together at Wascana Country Club was pretty incredible.

Honeycomb Events had the absolute privilege of taking this wedding from concept to creation — helping shape the vision, directing the décor, planning the details, coordinating the day, and then jumping behind the DJ booth to make sure the party was every bit as memorable as the rest of it.

And PARTY they did. 🔥💃

But this one was more than just another wedding for us.

Caydence is a girl I watched grow up alongside my oldest daughter through years of dance. To go from seeing those girls in costumes and dance shoes to watching Caydence walk down the aisle as an absolutely STUNNING bride was one of those full-circle moments that hits you right in the heart. 🥹💗

There were tears. There were BIG emotions. There was so much laughter and love. And there was an epic dance floor to finish it all off.

Caydence & Aaron — thank you for trusting Honeycomb Events with such an important day. It was truly an honour to plan it, create it, coordinate it and celebrate right alongside you. We hope married life is every bit as beautiful, fun and full of love as your wedding day was. 💕

A HUGE congratulations to Lexi & Shawn on their wedding this weekend! 🥂💍

We had the privilege of DJing their reception, and this crew absolutely understood the assignment. 🎶 From the first songs of the night right through until the lights came on, the party did 👏 not 👏 stop 👏.

The best kind of wedding night — great people, packed dance floor, sore feet and maybe a few questionable dance moves by the end. 😂

✨ MONDAY WEDDING RECAP: HONEYCOMB’S VERSION ✨

We don’t know about you, but we’re still in our Hanna & Carson era. 💛

Friday was an Enchanted kind of day as we celebrated these two with the most beautiful garden party wedding — and trust us when we say, Sparks Fly may as well have been the theme. ✨

Honeycomb got to be there for the whole Love Story:

🤍 Day-of coordination
🎧 DJ

We kept everything running on time, flipped the room, kept the drinks flowing and, when it was finally time to hit the dance floor, we knew All Too Well what needed to happen.

Because when the bride is a HUGE Swiftie with a healthy love for ABBA, you better believe we understood the assignment. 😂🪩

There were happy tears. There were huge laughs. There were emotional moments that had us in our feelings. And then there was a dance floor full of people who were absolutely ready to Shake It Off — with a little Dancing Queen thrown in for good measure. 💃

Hanna & Carson, thank you for trusting Honeycomb with your day. We hope when you look back, you remember it All Too Well — because this one was pretty damn special. 💛

We’ve been a little quiet over here since Friday… and for a pretty good reason. 🖤

This weekend, we traded timelines, playlists, rentals and emails for a few days of making memories with our family in Calgary.

Saturday, we got to do something we’re usually on the other side of — we were wedding GUESTS! 🥂💍 We celebrated family, hit the dance floor, and for once, neither of us had to worry about what was happening next on the timeline. 😂

Then Sunday was all about celebrating our newly FOUR-year-old with a day at the Calgary Zoo. 🦒🦁🐧

Owning a small business means Honeycomb is a huge part of our lives — but weekends like this are a pretty great reminder of why we work so hard in the first place.

Our hearts are full, our camera rolls are fuller, and now it’s Monday… which means we’re back to Honeycomb mode. 🐝✨

Emails, weddings, rentals and another busy week ahead.

FRIDAY CHECK-IN!

The games rentals are already out the door, which means something pretty rare is happening around here…

Honeycomb is OFF this weekend! 🙌

Well… off from working weddings, anyway. Because naturally, we’re spending our wedding-free weekend going to a wedding. 😂🥂

This time we get to be the guests — no timelines, no headsets, no moving tables, no checking in with vendors and, most importantly, no one asking us what happens next. 😂

Then we’re trading wedding attire for zoo shoes and celebrating our favourite little FOUR-year-old! 🦒🦁🎂

A little family time, a little celebrating, and a chance to recharge before we jump right back into wedding season next weekend.
