Unfortunately, due to the forecasted weather, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Marching Showband Classic scheduled for this Sunday, May 31.

While we're disappointed that we won't be able to bring together the incredible bands and community members who planned to attend, the safety and comfort of our performers, volunteers, and audience must come first.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported this event and the Red Deer Community Band Society. Your enthusiasm for music and the arts means so much to us.

Our $10,000 50/50 draw will still take place on Sunday, and the winner will be contacted directly and announced on our social media channels.

We hope you'll join us instead for our free concert, 'Sounds of Summer', on June 30 at St. Joseph High School. This special farewell field show will be a wonderful celebration of music, and we'd love to see you there.

If you have bottles or cans to donate, please bring them to St. Joseph High School (southwest parking lot) TOMORROW, May 27, from 6:00–9:00 PM.

Parade season is HERE!

A snowy start can only mean a sunny finish. But these talented kids are Canadian and used to the snow. Maybe it’s not an obstacle, but a challenge.

That said…. Ideally we’d like to not see any more snow on performance days. As long as this doesn’t become, like, the routine.
