IMPORTANT NOTICE: For those following and/or liking my page BluemoonStudio I have changed the address and name of the page. It is now The Custom Carver with the facebook address of www.facebook.com/TheCustomCarver.

is longer in use, so please take note of this and use the new address. In time all the pictures and descriptions will reflect this change. Change is good and I am certain you will agree with me as you watch the new business model grow before your very eyes. The reason for all of this is that I am moving the Bluemoon Custom Carving Studio to a new location (still within Red Deer, Alberta), and at the same time revamping the focus of the business to more custom carving projects, rather than the shotgun approach of trying to do a little bit of everything as in the past.

I will from now on be The Custom Carver focusing on catering to the personal requests and designs of the customer. In other words, the future will be geared towards carving what you want instead of my carving something and then offering it for sale. I will still make all of the designs I have developed and offered in the past, but now the business is more opened up to you telling me exactly what you want.

My best projects have always come from the imagination of the people I deal with through conversations and idea swapping sessions. Now, the new format really does offer a vehicle for you, the client, to feel that your ideas are not only important to my business, but extremely vital. The slogan "Your World is Our Canvas" is much more pertinent than ever before. Your imagination will be able to become your reality faster, easier, and more economical. Thank you.

WOW!!!! I will, in a couple of days, have some unbelievable and exciting news to share with everyone. I am putting some photos together to enhance this momentous announcement You will all be surprised to say the least. I'll give you a hint-------Bluemoon Studios is expanding. That is what I said, we are expanding-----into new surroundings and more importantly, into a new line of carving. I won't say more at this time so keep your eyes open for the major announcement coming down the pipe from BLUEMOON STUDIO in the next couple of days. Like I said, you will be massively surprised, and impressed. You will like what you see---I guarantee it!!!

I have been working on building an Online Store at my www.iCarveOnWood.com website and I don't mind telling you that it has been quite a chore. Well, I guess some things are never what one expects. I upgraded to Windows 10 and, you guessed it, nothing but problems that had to be worked on and solved. Part way to success and still working on it. If and when I get this Windows 10 working I will be posting some new pics of recent carvings. The eggs are going along well and the animal heads are getting finished slow but sure. They really take a lot of time to do the job on them I want to have done. Maybe I am a bit too much of a perfectionist but I am a believer that if it is worth doing it is worth doing well. By 'well' I mean the BEST you can do.
