I just want to say thank you. ❤️

Kindness costs nothing, but this year you guys showed us just how much it can be worth.

Something that isn’t talked about enough in our industry is the emotional toll producing an event can take. Especially for independent producers and hosts.

We spend months preparing. We worry about every detail. Do we have enough prizes? Are they good enough? We obsess over making the right decisions, keeping things fair, accommodating everyone, fixing the things we CAN fix… and stress endlessly about the things completely outside of our control.

If you know me, you know I usually have about a month-long spiral of “I’ve failed” after Big Bang every year. 😂 Probably some combination of no sleep, stress, exhaustion and that one bad apple.

But this year… OMG. This year felt different.

The kindness we received before, during and especially AFTER Big Bang was honestly overwhelming in the best possible way.

The amount of lovely posts we saw. The messages. The people who stopped us just to say thank you or tell us they had a great time. People sharing pictures and stories from their week.
That made/makes us feel SOO GOOD!

You tagged them. You thanked them. You gave them shoutouts in your posts. You recognized the businesses that help make this event possible. Appreciation from our competitors helps us continue to grow Big Bang and give more back to you.

I think sometimes we forget that behind every barrel race, rodeo, jackpot or event is a person or a team who genuinely cares about how it turns out.

Producers put a lot of themselves into these events, and most of us probably take a lot more of it home with us than anyone ever realizes.

So thank you for being kind this year.

Thank you for noticing the work.

Thank you for supporting the people who support us.

Thank you for giving us grace when things weren't perfect.

And thank you for reminding all of us why we love doing this.
