“I’m just not creative.”
Meanwhile, that same person has a craft room full of supplies, saves beautiful ideas on Pinterest, and spends an hour deciding whether the ribbon should go slightly left or slightly right. 😄
That sounds pretty creative to me.
I think most people aren’t lacking creativity.
They’re lacking confidence.
Sometimes all you need is a little encouragement, a few do-able ideas, and someone beside you saying, “Don’t overthink it, just give it a try and see what happens.”
That’s always been the heart behind Design with Jo.
Not perfection.
Not complicated projects.
Not feeling like you need ALL the things.
Just approachable creativity, creative play, and helping you understand why things work so you can feel more confident creating on your own.
Because handmade projects aren’t really about perfection anyway.
They’re about joy.
Connection.
Slowing down.
Trying something new.
And occasionally staring at a card thinking,
“Hmmm… maybe it DID need less stuff after all.” 😂
So if you’ve ever thought:

Creativity doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.
