The Quesnel Art Gallery Society wants to extend our gratitude and appreciation to all of those who came out last night for the opening reception of “The Serenity of Colour”.

It was a wonderful display of community support and created a very warm, welcoming environment for artist Adele Fussi, the creative mind behind this new exhibit.

If you were unable to attend the opening reception last night, don’t worry! There is still time to view these wonderful pieces of artwork until September 3rd.

The Gallery and Gift Shop are open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm unless stated otherwise, see you here soon!

𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝘁 𝟳 𝗣𝗠, come enjoy an exhibit opening celebration with us, be the first to see this fantastic collection of work by Métis artist 𝗔𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶!

Adele is an artist and community arts advocate based in Abbotsford, inspired by how heritage and nature speak to one another.

At 67, she discovered a passion she hadn’t known in oil painting and now at 73, it has entirely transformed her life.

We are so excited to meet Adele and see her celebrated work on our walls, come mingle with the arts community in Quesnel, enjoy refreshments, and meet the artist!

Mark your calendars because the Quesnel Art Gallery Society will be at the Quesnel Farmers Market this Saturday, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟖:𝟑𝟎𝐚𝐦 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝐩𝐦.

The market is such a great chance to browse the large selection of amazing local vendors, but ensure you visit our booth to say hi and see what we're giving away!

This is a great time to learn about some of the gallery's upcoming events, such as the revamped Community Spirit mural. You can also find out ways to get involved or show your support, through volunteering and membership information as well as sponsorship opportunities.

Our booth will also feature two different fun, creative and hands-on art activities that are engaging for kids and adults alike (without getting messy!).

We look forward to seeing you all at the Farmers Market on Saturday!

Stop in at the Gallery this week to see these wonderfully unique painted sawblades on display!

Michelle C Spragg Art has curated a beautiful collection of her work. This exhibit is titled '𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱' and we are so impressed by the details in each piece.

The gallery is 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝟭𝟬-𝟰 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 - 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 every week and admission is always FREE! This exhibit is only up until 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵, so don't miss it!

This evening all are welcome to join us for the opening reception of 'What Goes Around' this is a solo exhibition by Mackenzie-based artist Michelle C. Spragg.

Created on upcycled sawblades using alcohol inks, acrylics, and resin, these striking works explore themes of renewal, restoration, and the cycles that shape our lives. By transforming discarded materials into vibrant works of art, Michelle reminds us that beauty and purpose can be found in unexpected places.

Inspired by years spent exploring the wilderness of Western Canada, Michelle's work reflects both the quiet beauty of the natural world and the resilience that comes through growth and change.

With sponsorship from the Mackenzie Community Arts Council, this exhibition also celebrates connection, serving as the beginning of a collaborative vision to strengthen relationships between artists and galleries across Northern BC.
