Inar Music celebrates the Montreal Jazz Festival season with two new Rani Stetie album releases

As Montreal welcomes the Jazz Festival, Inar Music marks the season with the release of two albums by Rani Stetie, celebrating two timeless musical worlds through original compositions revisited in jazz and tango form.

The Original Jazz Song Book offers a soirée to relax, unwind, and enjoy an evening of original jazz songs revisited through a warm and elegant jazz lens.

Tango Lounge is a modern instrumental album inspired by the world of tango, filled with atmosphere, romance, rhythm and cinematic color.

All of the music featured on these two albums comes from Rani Stetie’s original SOCAN repertoire, with songs that also exist in pop, chanson or dance form, now reimagined through the worlds of jazz and tango.

With these two releases, Inar Music celebrates songwriting, reinterpretation and musical atmosphere, while marking the season with two distinct listening experiences shaped by the same composer’s signature.

As Montreal welcomes the Jazz Festival, Inar Music marks the season with the release of two albums by Rani Stetie, celebrating two timeless musical worlds through original compositions revisited in jazz and tango form.

The first, The Original Jazz Song Book, brings together a collection of original songs reimagined through a jazz lens, intimate, elegant, playful, and deeply rooted in Rani Stetie’s own songwriting universe.

The second, Tango Lounge, is a modern instrumental album inspired by the world of tango, filled with atmosphere, romance, rhythm and cinematic color. It is also dedicated to two people from different corners of the world who, without knowing each other, introduced Rani to their love of tango and ballroom dancing. Thank you, Ko, and thank you, Nathalie.

All of the music featured on these two albums comes from Rani Stetie’s original SOCAN repertoire, with songs that also exist in pop, chanson or dance form, now reimagined through the worlds of jazz and tango.

Together, these two releases offer two distinct moods, yet reflect the same musical signature and spirit of composition.
Both albums are available online, and selected editions are also offered on vinyl through our print-on-demand partners.

We are pleased to announce the release of The Isle of Small Songs, a beautifully illustrated musical storybook by R. Stetie and the collaboration of Z.Jisr.

Designed for children ages 5 to 11, the book invites young readers and families into a magical world of adventure,
friendship, imagination, and discovery. Along the way, readers will encounter memorable characters and explore more than 20 positive values, including kindness, courage, gratitude, creativity, respect, and perseverance.

The book can be enjoyed independently by young readers or shared during family story time and bedtime reading.

While inspired by an accompanying collection of original songs, The Isle of Small Songs stands entirely on its own as a complete reading experience. The music and visual content available online are complementary and help bring the world of the Isle to life.

« Shatra » est une chanson dédiée à ces personnes rares qui restent fidèles à elles-mêmes dans un monde qui récompense souvent la conformité. BONJOUR (Lebanese Version)

Originally written many years ago and rediscovered among old demos, tapes, and archives, Bonjour is a light-hearted song about gossip, appearances, and the things people say behind our backs.

Rather than responding with anger, the song takes a playful approach and simply smiles at the noise. Inspired by the spirit of classic Lebanese variety songs, Bonjour reminds us not to take everything too seriously.

If you've ever wanted to learn a few words of Lebanese Arabic, this might be the perfect song to start with. Turn up the volume, sing along, dance, and enjoy it with your friends.

The Lebanese version is the original source from which the multilingual project was born, with the signature phrase "yéklo hawa" traveling from one language to another.

The multilingual EP, featuring versions of Bonjour in multiple languages from around the world, will be released on July 1, 2026.

What happens when a simple Lebanese herb meets a spark of musical madness?

Mokho Bé3ébo is a fun, feel-good track inspired by a real wild climbing plant known in Lebanon, picked straight from nature and enjoyed in fresh, simple salads. One idea, one call, and suddenly… it became a rhythm.

The story started when Zena suggested the name to Rani. Curiosity kicked in, the idea was shared with Victor Baba, and just like that, the vibe turned into music.

Playful, a little crazy, and full of energy, Mokho Bé3ébo invites you to let go, move, and enjoy the moment.
