It’s been quiet on my page lately, but I am finally settled in Quebec and have started making pottery again!

I know Halloween hasn’t even happened yet, BUT I am excited to announce I’ll be at my first market in a long time, and my first here in Quebec.

Slowly getting my pottery area in the basement set up! We have an electrician coming Monday to see if we can wire the kiln in the garage. 🤞🤞

So looking forward to having everything in one place and getting back at potting. It’s been too long since I’ve been on the wheel!

🚨Update: As of July 10th I will be in Quebec City! I will be taking a break and pausing my Etsy shop from July 1st for the move. It will open up mid-July sometime. If there is anything you want to do a local pick up for make sure you do it this month!

Remember that but pot I threw? Well it survived the first round in the kiln (and Maeve’s inspection). Now just to glaze and fire in the kiln once more!

Today I made my largest piece EVER. It was thrown in two pieces with about 14lbs of clay. The first picture was part way through, then the final piece and a shot of half way through. 🙂

To be honest I’m not sure if this will make it through the kiln without cracking, I feel like there are air bubbles. Either way, I’m super happy with my accomplishment!

I realized recently that I rarely ever make things for myself. I usually just keep the not so great things that I can’t really sell. I thought I would make something special just for me (and I guesss my boyfriend can use them too), so I made a set of ramen bowls! I am super happy with how they turned out! 😍🍜 Now I just have to perfect my chopstick skills...
