100 MILE DJ.

One of Electric Love’s founding principles.

Because supporting local music scenes builds real community.
From the Cariboo to Thompson-Nicola, from the Okanagan to the Shuswap — Kamloops, Kelowna, Chase, Salmon Arm, Williams Lake, Armstrong, and all the little places in between — this is the sound of the Interior showing up for itself.

• Real local DJs.
• Real regional talent.
• Real community.

Electric Love is rooted in the underground — no corporate sponsors, no cookie-cutter festival machine, just real people building something from the ground up.

And while we bring in international acts and major artists, they play alongside the local and regional DJs who help keep this scene alive.
That balance matters.

Festivals should help strengthen the scenes they come from — not just fly everyone in, throw up a stage, and disappear.

We want visitors to feel the warmth of this place: the people, the music, the land, and the weird little dancefloor magic that happens when local crews, artists, and communities come together.

Built by real people.
Powered by local energy.
Rooted in the Interior.

Supported by Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia

On this National Indigenous Peoples Day, we encourage our community to take time to learn, reflect, and celebrate Indigenous cultures and histories. From the rivers to the mountains, this has always been a place of living, learning, gathering, and knowing. We want to express our gratitude to the Cél7w̓et Nation within Secwépemc'ulecw, whose stewardship, connection, and care for these lands continue to this day. 🧡

Exile enters 2026 following a year of growth and quietly significant milestones. His biggest release to date arrived in November with Danny Byrd on Byrdhouse - Higher - a collaboration years in the making that received extensive support from BBC Radio 1, Capital and tastemakers including MistaJam, marking a defining moment in his catalogue. Alongside this, Exile further strengthened his relationship with Vibe Chemistry, completing a collaborative release on his Make Your Era imprint after becoming a regular presence on the label. Meanwhile, Exile’s own platform, Banished Beats, closed out its second year with a full rebrand and a Christmas celebration at the infamous Bass Barn, reinforcing its growing presence within the underground.
On the road, Exile was invited back to stages across the UK festival and club circuit, including Equinox Festival, Jungle Cakes and DNB Collective, continuing to showcase his ability to adapt seamlessly across jungle, rollers and jump-up sets.
As he moves into 2026, Exile does so with a refreshed visual identity, his strongest Spotify and SoundCloud numbers to date, and new music lined up - including a forthcoming collaboration with Bladerunner to start the year, alongside a busy release schedule on Banished Beats and further projects already in motion.
Focused, evolving, and quietly building momentum - Exile’s next chapter is firmly underway.
Catch Exile Friday, August 7th, 1:00am-2:30am, throwing down at the Arcade Stage. 😤🔊

✨ Staff Spotlight: Ben Mehdi – Production & Operations ✨

Some people help build a festival from the spotlight. Others help build it quietly behind the
scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly so everyone else can experience the magic.

Ben is one of those people.

A longtime part of the Electric Love family, Ben’s journey goes back years — all the way to the
Agassiz days. Since then, he’s become one of the people helping keep the wheels turning
behind the scenes, supporting production and operations, helping solve problems, keeping
people safe, and stepping in wherever help is needed.
Because if you know Ben, you know standing still usually is not part of the plan.

One of the things that keeps him coming back year after year is the community.
The people who work hard together. The positive energy. The way people genuinely show up for
one another. Festivals can feel like organized chaos sometimes — and Ben genuinely loves
being part of that process. Jumping in where he’s needed. Supporting the crew. Helping bring
everything together.

And while the work matters, so does the place we get to do it.
The new grounds have become one of his favourite parts of Electric Love. Surrounded by
beautiful landscapes and nature, Ben makes a point to slow down when he can — getting out
for a run, a hike, or simply taking a few moments to take it all in.

Because sometimes the magic exists both inside the festival gates and outside them.

And the reason he keeps coming back? Simple.
The people. The music. The energy. The connection to nature.

“There’s nothing quite like it.”

Thank you for everything you bring to Electric Love, Ben. Your hard work, steady support, and
behind-the-scenes dedication help make this place what it is 💜⚡

It’s NO AI Sunday.

Some of us are still recovering from The Wormhole Block Party with Average Citizens, but that doesn’t mean we can’t run outside and pretend hopscotch is a legitimate recovery strategy.

And if you really can’t drag your butt out the door… indoor games are acceptable too.

We recommend n**e Twister.

Ditch the tech. Ditch your clothes. Stretch some appendages.

Have a groovy NO AI Sunday, gang.

And hey… let’s be exceptionally human today.
