Lester Centre of the Arts

Lester Centre of the Arts Prince Rupert's 700-seat Lester Centre fosters creativity, expression and ideas in northern British Columbia.

The Lester Centre was built as a state of the art 700 seat facility opened in 1987. It is operated by a non-profit society for the cultural benefit of the people of the Pacific Northwest. The house features side and upper balconies, with unobstructed view from all seats. Modern sound and lighting equipment complement the comfortable padded seats to produce an enjoyable and enlightening theatre experience. The spacious lobby hosts art displays from local artists, as well as a soft bar.

Mark your calendars! On September 25th we kick off our 2026/2027 Season with our first presentation!
Antonio Larosa is a country-rock and roots artist whose music blends the grit of blues, the soul of vintage rock, and the storytelling of classic country. With a voice that channels the spirit of Elvis Presley, Larosa creates songs that are heartfelt, lived-in, and unapologetically honest. Raised in Vancouver, BC, Larosa was drawn to the music of Johnny Cash, The Allman Brothers, BB King, and Roy Orbison from a young age. His music reflects those roots: raw, rhythmic, and filled with sincerity, but filtered through his own lens and life experiences.

Tickets only $25 available at online at lestercentre.ca or in person at Cooks Jewelers' and as always, at the door
