This Monday I will hang four (or maybe five) paintings at the OV (The Ocean View, for those not in Rupert). Nicole Rudderham's paintings will come down, so if you haven't seen them already, you better get there this weekend. The theme of my paintings, coincidentally, is Prince Rupert: MacLean Shipyard, the Besner Block building, Annunciation Auditorium and the Lester Centre for the Arts.

Finished the Lester Centre and on to my next painting. WIP. I love starting paintings. For this painting I will be listening to the audio book “A Lethal Lesson” by Iona Wishaw”, part of a mystery series that takes place in the 1940s in the Kootenays. And, sorry, but this is the only post I’m able to do of this painting.

Back to work on my painting of the Lester Centre, as seen at night, from across the highway. I like that it’s a weird dark misty night. The theatre, and the rec centre and pool, have such a well-lit, yet deserted look.
Work in progress, from yesterday and today. Almost ready to tackle the sky again.
This one will hang with 3 other paintings of mine, at the OV, the end of January sometime.

December 21st will be the last Thursday painting for a couple of months. I will take a break, get caught up with other projects, and create a little stockpile of small paintings.
