Our show “A Utopia and Our Dystopia” held at was a resounding success!
thank you all who listened to our lovely artists discuss the dystopias of our days and what it would take to get to a place of positivity - thank you all who viewed, aided in the discussion, and mourned with us through a very hard loss.
This show is dedicated to Kyle Garnot - who was an amazing man, father and friend. The system failed him, it has failed all those in need.
As said in the talk:
“This show, is centered around the burden of society’s flaws and abhorrent lack of accountability. Something everyone in this room can relate to, is the feeling of disappointment in the world around us. Some feel rage, some sadness, all are valid. Life isn’t what we signed up for, but we make the best of all that we have.
A tragedy has befallen us. Today, we dedicate our show “A Utopia and Our Dystopia” to Kyle Garnot - a man failed by the system set in place to protect us. Our world, a dystopia to what it could have been, failing our people - especially those who are most vulnerable. And our hope for a Utopia to enter the minds of those in power.”
We at RathRat Arts Collective give condolences and we’ll wishes to all those affected. We are here with you, we feel with you, and we love you.
