An Employee Named Drake Saved an Empty Display Case With a Hand-Drawn Spider-Man
A small-town Canadian cinema has gone viral for improvising its own Spider-Man: Brand New Day poster after none were ever sent to them. When the theater in Prince George, British Columbia, never received its official shipment from the distributor, one artistic employee decided to step in and save the day rather than leave the display case sitting empty.
The result is pure low-fi charm. Instead of a polished corporate print, the employee hand-drew their own custom artwork in the internet-famous, crudely drawn Spoderman meme style. It is exactly the kind of hilariously scrappy workaround that feels far more human than anything a studio marketing department would ever officially hand out.
The best touch of all is the polite apology tucked into the corner. At the bottom of the makeshift poster, the artist added a sincere little note explaining they never received the real one and apologizing for any inconvenience it caused.
