First day at the shop in 2024 was with Jen and Cody from 99.3 Rewind Radio. Gave them a little taste of what it feels like to use a tattoo machine (on fake skin of course). 😅🫠♥️ Had a blast! Cody’s fake skin had to come back for a touchup.

A question I often get asked is… “What’s your preferred style?” That is such a heavy question for me. I tattoo in many different styles and do a bit of everything. I started tattooing 10 years ago this year. Back then, in northern Ontario, we were encouraged by our mentors to try our best to learn all styles! I took that to heart. Essentially, I see myself as a commercial artist who serves my client. I take your ideas and bring them to life in the style that lines up best with your vision for your tattoo. I combine the knowledge I’ve learned in pursuing my degree in Fine Art along with the years I spent teaching art - most of which were spent teaching children and working with art students at the college back home. I’ve learned so much in those years and I’ve been exposed to so many different mediums and styles… I really enjoy bringing that to my tattoo chair.

Books open again in April for the summer! I can’t wait to see what the next block of clients will bring. See you soon!

I really enjoyed working on this custom piece for a fierce client! I get to tattoo such powerful women who I can't help but be inspired by. The stories you all share with me make me realize just how strong women can be. You ladies amaze me.

✨I tattooed a Viking.✨
Seriously, I never met anyone so knowledgeable on the history and symbology surrounding Vikings. I love learning about why people get tattoos. Even if it’s purely aesthetic… there is often a reason we choose the imagery we choose to adorn our bodies.
“I have some ancestors that were pict/viking. The berserker/ulfhednar vikings aren't even proven to be a real thing but I love the story of the battle crazed warriors wearing bear/wolf skins. The picts had animal symbols on everything.”

First photo is at the end of our second session. Wolf is fresh, skull is healed. The other photo is from Ben, months after all that chest hair grew back in. 😂👏🏼 my male clients often ask what it will look like once their hair grows back. Softer - definitely softer depending on how hairy you are. The hair will obscure some details, but still totally badass! 🤘🏼

I’ve been a Harry Potter fan since college. I listened to the audiobooks while I toiled away in the art studio. Things have come full circle haven’t they! Really enjoyed tattooing this piece for this wonderful client who braved the roads to make it in to his appointment today. Thank you for your dedication, trust, and the opportunity for me to work my own brand of magic. ✨
