I am so beyond excited for this reveal!

After SIX months in the making, this beautiful pressed wedding piece has finally been completed!

This piece is the first to be delivered with a hand crafted, hard wood frame, which we personally sanded, glued, and stained!

It is 16x20 and is an absolute beauty!

The learning curve for this piece was immense, but it made its completion all the more sweet!

A huge thank you to the incredible client who displayed such amazing patience while my family walked a series of very challenging circumstances, leading to it’s delayed completion.

I’m excited to announce that I will be taking on a few pressed wedding pieces like this, this fall as well! As each piece takes roughly 2 months to press, dry and put together, though, I will only be taking on a couple, especially as I will have two little ones by then. This in mind if you want your flowers done in 2023. Be sure to reach out!

Another wedding bouquet for the books!

It was an absolute pleasure to arrange this simple and classic piece for a couple in the lower mainland!

For the background literature, they chose to include their marriage scripture (Romans 12:9-13). What a beautiful foundation to lay one’s marriage upon!

Congrats to the happy couple and may this piece forever remind you of “the best day of your lives”. ♥️

This piece was an absolutely pleasure to create! It pushed me out of my comfort zone, helped me learn new aspects of drying/framing flowers, and helped me grow in my craft!

It’s finished!

This beautiful piece was created with a client’s wedding bouquet that she had kept and dried! The flowers are 10 years old! Aren’t the blues just stunning?

This piece features the lyrics to their first dance: “The Good Stuff” by Kenny Chesney.

What do you do when you are incredibly OCD and are running a business through Instagram?

You delete posts that don’t match the profile layout and repost newly edited versions days later hoping everyone forgot about the first one already! 😂

Did you know that we dry and arrange funeral/memorial flowers?

If you saw my story on funeral/memorial flowers before, you will know that I still believe in their significance! (If you didn’t, go check it out in my highlight!)

The practice of giving memorial flowers is becoming less and less common. The common rhetoric now, is that they are a waste of money. I 100% disagree with this sentiment though!

Funeral/memorial flowers do three things:

1. They remind the grieving individual that they are loved every time they see them on the table/shelf or in the window sill.

2. They cause the grieving individual to think of life and it’s beauty rather than be consumed by thoughts of death.

3. They help the grieving individual make positive associations with the loss.

And the wonderful thing about drying flowers, is that they will continue to all of the above for the rest of one’s life!
