Oh to live in the sunshine, to swim in the sea and to drink the wild air. Sounds dreamy! Can I bring my iPad though?

It’s been awhile since I participated in a lettering challenge. I have a tendency to start them with a bang, but slowly fizzle out. But this weekly one by caught my eye and so let’s give it a go.

Hand lettering over a Polaroid from a visit to Tofino, BC. Truly the perfect place to get your fill of sunshine, sea and wild air. If you know, you know. And if you’re fortunate enough to go there often, I hope you appreciate it!!

The thing about to do lists is just because a task is written down, doesn't mean it will actually get done. Ask my piles of half completed lists how I know...

It seems like the "to do's" just keep piling up and the satisfaction of crossing them out is getting less common. Some days I'm convinced that some of y'all have more than 24 hours in a day.

My solution to hack the unfinished to do list is to do one in reverse! A to done list. Maybe I didn't open an Etsy shop or edit 5 reels or finish updating my website. But I did make my house smell amazing with fresh lilacs. I got some sunshine with my adorable daughter, played with some art supplies, satisfied my craving for something sweet.

So next time your feeling womp-womp about how little you got done, and how much there is left to do, try taking a look back at what you did get done. It might not be the things you feel are important, but trust me, they are more important than you think.
