Maple-glazed corn NEEDS to be on the 4th of July menu!

Just brush some butter and a little maple syrup on the corn right before you take it off the grill. The heat makes it the perfect combination of sticky and sweet. 🤤 So whatever you do this weekend, find a reason to make it! Seriously.

DAN IS BUSY CUTTING FIREWOOD for the Sugarshack....and the house and the garage and the sugarshack kitchen! The maple forest is contantly growing and requires thinning in order to stay healthy and productive.

DID YOU KNOW? Maple syrup is made in March and April. It is tested to ensure quality and then is hot-packed and stored in sealed stainless steel barrels for future bottling. We reheat the syrup and bottle according to what our customers need throughout the year!

🎉CONGRATULATIONS🎉 to Terrol Getson, winner of the Powassan Lions 50/50 draw at the Maple Syrup Festival on Saturday. Lion Linda Bester presented Terrol with a cheque for $1,189.25.
Thank you to everyone that purchased tickets to support this fundraiser. These funds will assist us with providing donations for community betterment.
