I regret to announce that the Banoub and Rowe show scheduled for August the 8th is now cancelled. It just didn't work out. We hope to get the guys back at a future date as they are entirely wicked!

Russell "Who's on this Saturday?"
Sheryl "Glen Tilley and Bill Rose."
Russell "OMG they're fantastic!"

Sheryl "Your head looks weird."
Russell "I sneezed so hard I blew my beak off."

Sheryl "Is that a cawtionary tale?"
Russell "Sigh."

(But seriously folks)
Glen Tilley & Bill Rose have been electrifying audiences on intimate stages and in concert halls across the province. Their performances are powerful and engaging. Their repertoire, an homage to the great songwriters and tunesmiths who gave voice to a generation.

With stops in Greenwich Village, Liverpool, Los Angeles, Nashville and a waltz across Texas, this amazing duo cover a sweeping range including country swing, folk, rockabilly, contemporary singer songwriter material, and original compositions by Rose and Tilley.

The work of celebrated troubadours Townes Van Zandt, Johnny Cash, Chris Stapleton and Ian Tyson, legendary composers Bob Dylan, Lennon & McCartney, Randy Newman, John Prine, Paul Simon, and Ron Hynes all make an appearance. Dazzling instrumental duets from Ray Flacke, The Mavericks, and the Ventures featuring Bill Rose’s virtuosic guitar playing round out the unique set list of this exceptional duo. And the stories they share about the lives and times of these artists are inspiring.

Doors at 7pm. Show starts 730.

More talent than Kellogg’s got corn flakes!
We had a wonderful time with Jodee Richardson and Nicole Hand last night at the Centre. Wonderful songs and recitations and it’s neat to see that these two are on a bit of a mission. Going around to small places that generally don’t get visiting artists while at the same time finding out about local histories and the people who know those histories.
They are building something that future generations will be able to access and are thus contributing to the story of this place. Well done themselves.

Nicole Hand and Jodee Richardson are established Newfoundland musicians whose duo sound is a blend of their individual strengths, drawing from acoustic guitar, saxophone, bassoon, piano and vocals. They have played to large theatres and intimate rooms with their set of well-known tunes of all genres, featuring evocative originals, favourite covers and dynamic stories and recitations, usually inspired by Newfoundland and Labrador culture and experiences.

Their most beloved project is their annual tour of the province where they perform in remote communities and discover new audiences and friends, from St. Lewis in Labrador to Long Island in Green Bay.

Jodee and Nicole have shared the stage over the years with collaborations between rock bands The Pathological Lovers, Fur Packed Action and Ouroboros as well as between Jodee as a featured vocalist and the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, where Nicole has been a bassoonist since 2008.

Jodee’s career in music, film and theatre spans over three decades as a writer, director, sound designer and performer. In 2022 the couple began producing their own original, all-ages puppet show around the holidays in aid of local food banks. Their newest endeavour, nine-member original band Hit Piece, has performed at the acclaimed Writers at Wood Point Festival for the past two summers.

Both originally from Conception Bay South, Nicole and Jodee got hitched in 2025 in advance of their Just Married To’er. They currently reside in downtown St. John’s with their dog, Nan.
