1856, is a member of the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies. Our fair is a wonderful blend of traditional agricultural exhibits, featuring competitions and many prizes, and great entertainment. We provide beautiful fairgrounds in the heart of a small Ontario town with fun activities for the entire family. The competitions are open to everyone, with age rules for some categories, so bring in your beautiful vegetables even if you're a backyard "farmer". Every year we publish an Exhibitor's Book with all of the classes for entry and potential prize money, rules and entry forms.

Attention to those entering Homecraft and Junior Fair! 📣

Exhibitor submission windows have changed this year to account for the Friday night concert.

Entries can be dropped off in the following time windows:

Thursday, September 3rd from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm

Friday, September 4th from 10:00am to noon (12:00 pm)

Saturday, September 5th from 8:30 am to 10:00 am

Submissions will NOT be accepted after 10:00am on Saturday, September 6th.

This is also a reminder that if you wish to have your tags mailed to you, submit your entries via Assist Expo or reach out to [email protected] by August 21st!

We are so very excited to announce Robyn Ottolini as your Friday night opener! 🤩

Robyn will be performing Friday, September 4th at 7:00 pm on the Main Stage. 🎶

Ticket sales will begin online at 9:00 am on Tuesday, August 11th. Stay tuned for the link to purchase your tickets. 🎟

There will be limited sales at the gates on the night of the concert.

We can't wait to see you there! 🎉
