The Coronation of the Virgin

This modern painting is a replica of Giacomo di Mino’s Early Renaissance painting.
My work measures 33.5” x 55” and is an enlarged version of the original central
panel of a triptych. It has been redrawn and in some places simplified and restored.

This is a 3-year project. It is painted on gessoed wood panel, with egg tempera paint and gold leaf.
