Have you ever gone to the bowling alley and been asked to remove your outdoor shoes? Or asked the attendant if you can bowl in your own shoes or even socks and been told no? Well, here is why.
You can use regular shoes, but they cannot be worn from outside. They must be designated for bowling. Any shoe that is worn from outside will introduce material that will stick to the approaches and create hazards for everyone. Wearing regular shoes can damage the lanes and increase the risk of slipping or tripping.
Now you know.
