Amazing! Worth the watch!
It appears that the movie trailer and dance gods have conspired to make this the best week ever for their adoring worshipers. Just when I thought I had soaked up every incredible bit of Kristen Wiig's "Chandelier" performance, this spellbinding "Take Me to Church" video featuring Ukrainian ballet dancer Sergei Polunin fell into my lap—and I've been mesmerized ever since. Luckily, there's much more where that came from tucked into various corners of the internet, and I dug up five of the best examples to complete your hump day. Prepare yourself for a whole lot of amazing. First up: More from the bad boy of ballet himself, Sergei Polunin. This is what it looks like when he freestyles. As in, no choreography, no practice, just raw movement. Am I the only one who is truly astounded? Add this to our growing list of epic dance performances in n**e leotards: The true ballet-obsessed will recognize Miko Fogarty as the ultra-dedicated 12-year-old from the documentary First Position (which, if you haven't seen, I highly recommend).
