Great news everyone. The barrier has been removed. The poster is now 100% human made.

So I assume all the people who said they couldn’t support the event because of the AI poster are buying tickets now?

Apparently some people are protesting my local live performance event because the promotional poster looked AI generated.
So here’s your new poster. 😂

I spent an hour and a half of my vacation remaking it by hand instead. Time I could have spent with my family and my daughter after reuniting with her in Toronto.

For the record, I have made my own posters for eight years. There was never a graphic designer whose job was replaced. I used AI to reduce my own unpaid workload so I could spend more time producing a reel with real actors and organizing an event featuring real local performers.

But I heard the criticism. So here we are.
100% human-made promotional material for your 100% human live performance event.
Please enjoy the hot sauce napkin. 🌶️

And to the people claiming they won’t support the event because of the original poster, I genuinely struggle to believe you were planning to buy a ticket in the first place.

If your response to concerns about supporting artists is to boycott an independently produced event featuring actual local performers, then I think we have very different ideas about what supporting artists looks like.

So yes, go enjoy your streaming service, by the way, have you seen how bad they are for the environment??

The rest of us will be over here making weird little live shows for people who actually want to come see them. 😘
