Welcome to the RimRock Casino!! Designed with a West Coast Theme, our décor relies on the many species of trees that can be found in the beautiful forests of the Alberni Valley. The Casino encompasses 25,000 square feet with a capacity for 800 guests. Every species of tree that grows in the Port Alberni's rainforest has been incorporated into the RimRock décor either as massive uncut lumber or in furnishing or finish. Greeting our guests out front, are massive WESTERN RED CEDAR trees, over 1,500 year old cedars can also be seen inside, on the slots floor. We have two exclusive private event rooms; the Cathedral Grove Room, the Pacific Rim Room. These rooms are available to host your Staff Get-togethers, Business Meetings, Anniversary Celebrations, Christmas Parties, New Year's Eve Celebrations, Family Get Togethers and so much more! The event rooms are family friendly; your guest list can include people of all ages!! Both event rooms are self contained featuring their own bar, multi media equipment, projector, music, etc. Expecting a Large number of Guests? You have the option to combine both Event Rooms into 1 Big Event Room!! Ask one of our friendly staff for details of how to book these one of a kind spaces. HEMLOCK and BALSAM, as well as PINE and ALDER are other tree species seen throughout the facility. The focal point of the beautiful Cypress Lounge, is the impressive fireplace, with two huge 500 year old YELLOW CEDARS standing guard. The lounge area seats 48. Come in relax, sit back and enjoy the calming atmosphere. With two choices for dining, The Cypress Lounge which seats 50, or the more intimate setting of the Cypress Dining Room, which seats 52. RimRock Casino has 99 slot machines with one virtual Blackjack table that seats 5.
