On exhibit until mid-May, Music is the Muse is an interactive display where you can listen to the music that inspires my paintings. Each song has a particular song relating to its creative process or there is a code to listen to the whole playlist as you wander the gallery. Bring your earbuds to hear what I hear while I paint.

This young gentleman, who was being groomed by grandmother, artist Joanne Neal, to appreciate art and be a gentleman, presented me with a beautiful rose last night to congratulate me on my exhibit. It was oh so charming.

This little 12” x 12” beauty was a ‘relief’ piece painted while working on my big pieces for Music is the Muse. I just needed some play time so before getting down to serious work one morning I blocked her in and then the next day I finished her. Such fun! painting

Music is the Muse has its opening reception on Thursday, March 26 from 5-7 pm. Bring your cell phone with Spotify app and ear buds to listen to my paintings.
