Pictou Lobster Carnival Welcome to the Pictou Lobster Carnival's Official page! Visit us for all things Carnival!

Since 1934, the Pictou Lobster Carnival has become a signature event in Nova Scotia. This three day festival celebrates the end of the lobster fishing season in the area, Maritime culture and music. The event features musical entertainment at the Main Stage, a Beer Garden, the Pictou Lobster Carnival Parade, an Antique Car Show, Derby Races, Lobster Boat Races, a Mid-Way, a Children's Parade and many other activities for the whole family.

On Lobster Carnival Weekend from July 3rd to 5th, The Murray Family Public Library, located in the DeCoste Centre building, is hosting a special lobster craft that will be held in the Rainbow Room for families to drop in and do together! 🦞💕🎨

Aside from the available crafts, the Library will be open to the public to take a breather, to cool down in the AC, to fill up water bottles, and to use their washroom facilities (accessible and gender neutral, two family washrooms with changing tables, and gendered washrooms). 🦞🎪

We are highly encouraging everyone to PICK UP YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE at the DeCoste Centre Box Office In Pictou! 🎪🦞🎫 Carnival is just over a week away!

There are still over 500 passes still to be picked up! Imagine that lineup before you even get to the entry lineup Friday night when Crash Test Dummies start 😬🥹

To pick up your tickets head on down to 99 Water Street in Pictou NS, Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM! If those times are not possible for you, also feel free to call and arrange ticket pickup at the DeCoste Centre by calling them at 1-902-485-8848 or toll-free at 1-800-353-5338 🦞🎪💕

We're keeping the Vendor Spotlights coming! 🔆Jade Kitchen will be bringing handmade Asian-inspired street food and Tanghulu (Candied Fruits) to the Pictou Lobster Carnival! They are also excited to be offering a Special Lobster Crepe as a limited festival special! 🦞🦞
