🚘 Let's FILL UP the ROT ROD! 🥫

The Rot Rod is rolling into HarvFEST On The Harbour, and we're hoping to send it home with a full load!

Bring along a non-perishable food donation and help us fill this one-of-a-kind hearse in support of the Pictou County Food Bank. Every can, box and bag makes a difference, so raid those cupboards and help us fill the Rot Rod!

🎶 Live music is taking over Water Street at HarvFEST On The Harbour !

We're bringing the Kitchen Criminals to downtown Pictou for an afternoon of great live music, with Shiretown kicking things off!

And there's plenty more happening along Water Street! Grab a bite to eat, check out the pumpkin pie contest, explore pop-ups and activities outside local shops, and take advantage of in-store specials.

🥫 Help us Fill Up the Rot Rod with donations for the Food Bank while you're downtown!

Then mosey down to the Vendor Village for more family fun, including pumpkin carving! Carve your own masterpiece and add it to the Waterfront Pumpkin Glow Up, when hundreds of pumpkins will light up the harbour at 6 PM! 🎃

Saddle up! 🐴 Shelby Ranch is joining us at HarvFEST On The Harbour this Saturday with pony rides from 2pm to 5pm for the kids!

And that's just part of the fun! Head to the Vendor Village for:

•Bouncy TRACTOR (2pm-4pm)
•Face painting (2pm-4pm)
•S'mores & C***r (2pm-6pm)
•Hay bale playground (2pm-6pm)
•Pumpkin carving (2pm-6pm). Kids can carve their own pumpkin, then add it to our Waterfront Pumpkin Glow Up, where hundreds of pumpkins will light up the harbour at 6 PM! 🎃

Holden and Vicki Boulton, visiting from Delta, B.C., left a pretty incredible piece of family history in our guest book: “Our ancestor, John McNeil Stewart, swam to shore here around 1840! Thrilled to see Pictou!”

Nearly two centuries later, his descendants made their way to Pictou too. ❤️

HarvFEST on the Harbour is back Saturday, October 24, with live music, family fun, food, a little witchy business and hundreds of glowing pumpkins to light up the waterfront!

Come make a little pumpkin magic in Pictou 🎃

Saturday, Oct 24 • 2pm-6 pm • Love Local Vendor Village

Help us light-up Pictou waterfront with the glow of carved pumpkins. Join the hands-on fun in the afternoon, then at 6 pm watch the waterfront light up at dusk.

How to join:
• Create on site 2pm-6 pm (tools, decorations and pumpkins provided while supplies last)
• Bring your own pre-carved pumpkin on Saturday between 2pm-6pm
• Or drop it at Vendor Village Friday, Oct 24 between 1pm-5 pm

Families, individuals, businesses, and organizations are all welcome. Let’s make Pictou waterfront glow! Prizes awarded!

A little love for Pictou, all the way from France. 🇫🇷❤️

Helene, visiting from Forcalquier, made Pictou part of her travels after Montreal and Quebec, and left us this lovely note: “So I had to book a trip to this lovely area Pictou... Lovely!!”

HarvFEST on the Harbour is back Saturday, October 24 from 2–6 pm, and we’re looking for a great mix of food and beverage vendors to join us on Water Street and the Pictou Waterfront.

Space is limited, so if you’d like to bring your truck, trailer, tent or tasty offerings to HarvFEST, we’d love to hear from you.
