Time to give the ladies the spotlight. This week's open mic theme is Female Fronted Songs.

From Shania and Alanis to Fleetwood Mac, The Cranberries, Tracy Chapman, Taylor Swift, and everything in between — there are a lot of great songs to choose from.

As always, the theme is optional, but we're looking forward to hearing some familiar favourites and maybe a few surprises.

Modern songs only. Time to prove open mic isn’t stuck in 1987 😄

🎤 Jun 10 — Female Fronted Songs
Play songs by female artists or bands with female lead singers.

🎸 Jun 17 — Make Your Own Theme
Build your own mini set theme. Sad songs? One-hit wonders? Songs with cities in the title? Go for it.

🇬🇧 Jun 24 — British Invasion
A night of UK artists — Beatles, Oasis, Adele, Elton John, Amy Winehouse, Coldplay, and beyond.

Steve Sawyers had the wheels turning last night with a killer version of “Pink Cadillac” — and I’m pretty sure he had another car song in the tank too. 🚗🎶

Big shoutout as well to Andy Ryan, who spent the night jumping in on electric guitar and absolutely elevating the room. One of the best parts of open mic is watching musicians back each other up and create something bigger together.
