SUMMER

Camping, cottages, boating, vacations, ice-cream, road-trips, sunshine and campfires. In the few fleeting months we have to enjoy summer, we seem to cram every activity possible into this time frame for maximum enjoyment. It’s my favourite season, and that is why I made it the subject of this year’s show, a variety of scenes of memorable Summer days and nights.

The Summer season means something different to everyone, whether it is the comforting nostalgia of summers past, or creating new adventures, Summer is the time for lasting memories.

Inspired by the freedom that Summer provides, and the many beautiful moments it creates, I hope you enjoy these latest works as much as I did painting them.

In Untitled, the artist considers North American landscapes she has traveled simply as the land -the geography- itself, without reference to ownership, jurisdiction, or claim to title.

He plans to arrive around noon (timing may vary) and will be available to meet visitors, talk about his work, and offer additional pottery pieces for sale. Support the Waring’s Creek Improvement Association and its efforts to protect this restored cold-water stream from proposed high-density development.

Featuring over 160 unique pottery pieces by master potter Bill Reddick, including selections from the “Maple Leaf” series. Bill will also speak about his work on Canada’s official State Dinnerware.
