Thursday, May 28th from 9:30-2:30 (Bloomfield United Church) is our final comfort quilt workday before we break for the summer.

One of the projects we will be working on are cloth bowls made from our leftover string scraps to donate to The Boutique at the upcoming quilt show. The time can also be used to work on your own comfort quilts or gather fabric for a summer comfort quilt project.

Prince Edward County Quilt Guild May Quilt Guild Meeting
May 13, 2026 at Picton United Church at 7p.m. (doors open at 6:30)
The program includes Elfrieda Snow, a well-known Quinte area quilter. She mentors young quilters for the CQA youth challenge and also teaches free motion quilting.

This Thursday, April 30, is a Comfort Quilt Workday at Bloomfield United Church from 9:30-2:30.
Come for any or all of the time. You can work on your own Comfort Quilt project but we also have an exciting group project:

For all those interested to add decorative stitching to the ‘Crazy Quilt’ project, Sonia and Veronique will bring the quilt at Comfort Quilt this Thursday. Please come with your decorative thread and embroidery ideas, and add a few stitches on this ‘A Stitch in Time 2025’ collective quilt.

Come visit the Prince Edward County Quilters’ Guild Quilt Show 2026 – A Stitch in Time in Wellington, Ontario!

Our show will feature more than 250 contemporary, traditional and art quilts, a raffle quilt draw, judged section, demos, guided tours, vendor mall, scissor sharpener and a member’s boutique.

There is ample parking, and there is guaranteed to be many gorgeous quilts!

We are nearby wonderful wineries, beautiful boutiques, terrific quilt stores, and Sandbanks Provincial Park. Come for the day, or weekend or stay for a holiday!

The April Guild meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at 7 p.m. ( doors open 6:30) at Picton United Church.
The program will be “Everything you wanted to know about scissors”.

Thursday, March 26 is Comfort Quilt Workday at Bloomfield United Church from 9:30-2:30.
There are several projects you can work on - bunting bags, pot holders, a quilt as you go for Dialysis, or you can work on your own project.
