I’ve been busy restocking my display, and there’s now LOTS of pottery ready for you to discover! 🤍🏺

From one-of-a-kind handmade pieces to your new favourite mug or bowl, there’s plenty to browse and find something special.

If you’re in the area, pop into The Local Store and take a look! Every piece is handmade with love, and I’m so happy to have my shelves filled up again

Emptied the bisque kiln and have a bunch of glaze work to do. It’s not as simple as many think. All these pieces need to be wiped down to remove any dust. And all need to be inspected to ensure there are no imperfections. That way I can get a great glaze application and adherence to get the design I’m aiming for. 💕

Noodle bowls that came out of the glaze kiln a few days ago. This beautiful black metallic glaze is stunning on these with some random strokes of another glaze and some copper oxide beneath the glaze. I’m an abstract kind of girl! #

While my glaze kiln is cooling down I’ve been working on glazing this next load. It’s all done now so tomorrow it’ll go into the kiln. I also restocked the shelves The Local Store | Prince Edward County yesterday so head on over there for a great selection of my work. 💕. I’m currently enjoying a latte a Lily's Café and see I need to restock my mugs here as well. Once this glaze kiln cools down I’ll be bringing new pieces here. Enjoy this beautiful Sunday.

Sold this beauty of a bowl today in my studio. My shop was not open as I’m still building up inventory for the shelves. However this car drove in, apparently not seeing my closed sign. Since I was in the studio working I went out and welcomed them in, warning them that there wasn’t much pottery yet. Well, we had a lovely chat and they ended up with this gorgeous bowl that came out of the fire two days ago. I was so pleased that this bowl was heading to the home of this wonderful woman. 💕. #.
