For those new to our improv drop-ins, it's currently a 2 hour monthly drop-in facilitated by in-house improv instructor & Actor Steve Hobbs, providing an opportunity for adults interested in trying improv to learn and play in an inclusive class designed for beginners! A great opportunity for networking with new and existing level one Adult students, this Sunday's drop-in class is locked in and is still open for sign up!

*YOUTH/TEEN IMPROV DROP-IN PROMO!*

TOMORROW (Feb.20th) 8-10pm, youth/teens in the grade 7-12 range have a chance to attend a special, one-off Improvisation "Drop-In" workshop session with resident improv-instructor Steve Hobbs!

Limited to max 12 participants, this fun drop-in class is an opportunity for those newer to improv to get an introduction to the fundamentals taught in our regular improv program, including techniques and philosophies from Steve's 10+ years of studying & performing stage-comedy!

Act One is happy to announce that it's 2024-25 Wednesday Stage Theatre classes commenced tonight! We were excited to welcome back many returning students from last year and greet the new ones and look forward to seeing what their combined efforts, imaginations and dedication create on our stage. Act One's Wednesday classes include Theatre for Ages 10-11 (5:00-6:30pm); Theatre for Ages 12-13 (6:30-8:00pm) and Theatre for Ages 14-18 (8:00-9:30pm)

Act One's 2024-25 Musical Theatre classes start today! We're excited to see what these new ensembles can create over the coming year through their passion for the arts and by challenging themselves as performers. Act One is again offering three classes on Sundays. Musical Theatre for Ages 7-10 from 11:30am-1:00pm, Ages 11-13 from 1:00-3:00pm and Ages 14-18 from 3:00-5:00pm. Fall Term registration is available up until Thanksgiving.

𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀: Act One offers personal monologue and vocal coaching for grade 6, 7 and 8 students preparing for their upcoming admissions auditions for any of the eastern GTA arts-focused school programs. With most school holding auditions in January, Act One has helped many a student with the preparation and confidence they desired to put their best foot forward during their audition.
