What a way to kick off Saturday morning

A HUGE thank you to EVERYONE who showed up and stepped with me for my FIRST Saturday Step class at Doahl Academy!

You came ready to move, learn, challenge yourselves — and YOU DELIVERED!

I am SO proud of you for conquering the TOP 10 CORE MOVES in our very first song!

By the end of the class we learned a 3-MOVE COMBO......yes y'all did that!

And of course… it would not be a Coach Stacey Special without a little SOCA in the mix

The energy.
The smiles.
The determination.
The community.

THIS is exactly what I wanted Saturday Step to feel like.

And guess what… WE’RE JUST GETTING STARTED!

Next Saturday, we're doing it AGAIN — but this time, Coach Jully is taking the mic!

Last Saturday I taught my first official class at DOAHL Dance Academy as we step out of summer and into our fall season.

First, a special shoutout to Kathryn Duncan, a founding member who continues to show up with loyalty, love and commitment.

And big love to our whole STEP crew:

Here is the beautiful part. Five of our seven steppers were brand new, and by the end of class they were trying an intermediate move they were nervous to attempt at first.

And they ALL got it.

That is the lesson. You do not have to know how. You just have to be willing to try.

We worked through beginner moves, danced in between, laughed, sweated and kept building confidence one STEP at a time.

More clips are coming, but for now, enjoy this little glimpse of what happens when community meets courage.
