The need to have some light and airy tops this summer has led to these beauties! Overheating is now a ‘thing’ for me so this double gauze material fits the bill. 😅
It’s leftover dress fabric from a couple years ago and it’s SO soft and breathable. I made a pattern from another favourite top and opted for some adjustments.

Tulips' Cross is done! This reclaimed piece of plywood found in the barn has quite a different life now. The holes and gouges were filled and there's still some 'beauty marks', but I think it will live happily on the porch.

I think I'll try sewing up a quilt block of it someday. The grid is available in my Etsy shop for those interested.

With no AC in my quilting studio, and my hot flashes resembling sun flares… I’m trying to stay cool near the fans while I try a little painting. 😅 I’m thankful for the cooler days! How’s your summer going?

I’m so happy with the way my Swallows In The Dell turned out 💕 It was a great quilt show and lots of great vendors too!
Now, it’s time to finally finish writing the pattern!

Wow, life is busy right now! The fields are planted, family events are happening, the town job still beckons but… I’m finally getting some binding done. This quilt needs to be finished, with a sleeve, in five days so I can submit it to my guild quilt show. Say a prayer for me 😅
