We always need new underwear at our Emergency Shelter! In response to this need, St. Paul's Presbyterian Church Peterborough has decided to host Undie Sundays in March - inviting congregants to bring in new underwear or boxers for the youth, parents and children staying in Emergency Shelter 🩲. SUCH A GREAT IDEA - and very helpful to our community members in a housing crisis.
If you're a member of a group meeting on Sundays, consider Undie Sundays! It's an incredible support to some of our clients who are struggling.
If your group, school or workplace is interested in collecting needed items for folks accessing shelter, we always accept underwear, toiletries, and non-perishable foods. We count on these donations to provide the basics to our clients in shelter. It's a great way to help support youth and families experiencing homelessness in Peterborough.
